WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., Jun 22, 2000 (ENTERTAINMENT WIRE) — For some science-fiction buffs, “Land of the Lost” is little more than a dim and distant recollection of an early-1970s Saturday-morning TV show.



For others, it’s a childhood highlight, with hours spent watching the hapless Marshall family fight off rampaging dinosaurs and dangerous lizard men (the Sleestaks). And for a select few, it’s such a powerful part of their past that the theme song (“Marshall, Will and Holly, on a routine expedition …”) is still ingrained in the recesses of their minds.

Beginning Thursday, June 22, GalaxyOnline.com begins streaming this landmark program, which follows the adventures of Rick Marshall and his children, Will and Holly, who are plunged into a vortex filled with creatures from a strange, prehistoric world.



The first episode, titled “Cha-Ka,” will make its Internet debut in the “Retro TV” category of GalaxyOnline.com’s “Galaxy TV” section. Early in July, additional chapters will be added. Ultimately, the first two years of the series (30 episodes overall) will be available at the site.
