KROFFT.NET is over 10 years old now. Though I didn’t acquire the krofft.net domain until 1998, I built the original website (hosted at netcom.com) from my Krofft Fact Sheet in 1996. I built the Fact Sheet from many hours of library research, news group scouring, and email interviews.

Over the years, the face and focus of the site has changed.

At first, I recreated the entire Fact Sheet on the site. Now, all that information is widely available throughout the net (i.e. Wikipedia).

Next, I added RealVideo/Audio clips of the show intros and theme songs. Now, nearly all of the shows are available on DVD/video.

Finally, a renewed interest in Sid and Marty’s work began. Rumors of new movies (Pufnstuf and Land of the Lost) surfaced. A new Electrawoman pilot was created. Websites popped up all over, and the Kroffts even started to develop an official site (Krofftville).

I continue to run this site to express my love for all thing Sid and Marty Krofft, and to share it with all my fellow Krofft fans.
