The Osmonds 50th Anniversary Reunion on PBS

donnyandmarie.jpgThe Donny and Marie show from the 1970s was one of the first Krofft creations. The Osmond family has put together an 50th Anniversary celebration that is airing on PBS. From the Official Site:

Legendary music family THE OSMONDS will celebrate a historic 50th Anniversary in entertainment with an all-star music special for television on PBS, “The Osmonds 50th Anniversary Reunion,” starring The Osmond Brothers, with special guests Donny, Marie, and Jimmy, to begin airing in March of 2008.

I currently have this on my DVR, but haven’t watched it yet. Because of the fame of Osmonds, “Donny and Marie” was one of the more famous Krofft shows, and one of the few in prime-time.

Check your local PBS listings for showtimes.

I live in the Detroit Michigan area. I missed the Osmond Family Reunion Show. Is there plans for it to air on PBS again? If so, what is the future date and time?

Jackie, I too live in the Detroit area, but have not seen any re-airings of the Osmond show. Also, the PBS site (http://www.pbs.org) doesn’t have the show listed anymore.

Your best bet will probably be http://www.osmondgeneralstore.com/ when the DVDs come out.
